“From 2022, Papanui Baptist Church has been discerning and implementing a 5-year strategy we’ve called “Haerenga Nui” – our “Great Journey”. One of our priorities is the stewardship of resources to both create welcoming spaces and to build bridges into our communities. To achieve this, Papanui Baptist has chosen to partner with Baptist Resources in commencing a property development project we are calling “Project Fit for Purpose”. It has been 40 years since the last major enhancements were completed to our campus, and making our place in the centre of Papanui the best it can be, is an important priority. Baptist Resources is providing the project activation support, design expertise, feasibility and financial planning and stakeholder consultation that we need to move ahead with this ambitious vision. They have led internal focus groups with sensitivity and drawing from a wealth of experience that complements what is available within the church. We are looking forward to continuing this journey over the coming months.”
